Marissa's Portfolio

I’m Marissa Myhill. I’m a first-year student at the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC, studying Communications and English and am originally from Fairbanks, Alaska. This portfolio is to showcase many of the elements of design I learned throughout the Computer Science 114 course as well as many techniques I perfected while using Adobe programs such as: Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.

have many hopes and aspirations for myself, both academically and non-academically. In the classroom I hope to excel and reach my full potential as I take Communication and English courses as well as finishing out my general education requirements. One major goal for myself is to make the Dean’s list at least once in my college career, if not multiple times. Outside of the classroom, I wish to excel as well. As a coxswain on the College of Charleston crew team, I hope to medal more than once with my boats, develop my “voice,” and grow my knowledge of rowing as a whole. I also hope to acquire an internship within my four-years in Charleston at a public relations firm, to further myself as I start my career in public relations down the road.
